Lichfield Depot
Trent Valley Road, Lichfield
- Purpose built depot with a large two-story office block at the front, single side entrance and two rear entrances. Maximum capacity of 30 vehicles indoors, with further parking outside at the rear on un-surfaced land.
- Opened by Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) on Friday 17th September 1954, with an initial allocation of 16 vehicles.
- Allocation peaked at 19 vehicles in 1960.
- Depot closed by BMMO on Friday 28th May 1971, with operations and vehicles shared between Bearwood depot, Stafford depot, Sutton Coldfield depot, Swadlincote depot and Tamworth (Aldergate) depot.
- Site later used as a Staffordshire County Council depot.
Station Road, Lichfield
- Opened on Tuesday 1st April 1986 by Midland Red (North) Limited, houseing a fleet of new Ford Transit minibus for new services in the town, and the Mercian coaching unit.
- All Midland Red North minibus operations in Lichfield ended on 13th April 1987, with services passing to Midland Fox Limited and Stevensons of Uttoxeter. Ford Transit minibuses moved to Tamworth (Aldergate) depot.
- Site closed and sold.
