Service M1: Timetable Changes
7th October 1972
- New Works Service M1 and Works Service M2 are introduced, running Monday to Friday to St. Wulstans Hospital. Service M1 runs via Welland, Blackmore Park Road, Peachfield Road, Great Malvern Railway Station, to Barnards Green. Service M2 runs via Malvern Wells and Great Malvern to Malvern Link.

- St. Wulstans Hospital Works Service M1 is renumbered to Service M19.

On Saturday 13th January 1979, Midland Red Omnibus Company Limited (MROC) introduced the “SevernLink†Market Analysis Project (MAP) scheme in the Worcester, Bromsgrove and Malvern areas.

At the end of operations on Saturday 5th September 1981, Midland Red Omnibus Company Limited (MROC) ceased trading as a bus and coach operator. The operation of all services are divided and assumed by five new operating companies.
- Operation of local Malvern Service M1, Service M2, Service M3, Service M7, and Service M8 are passed to Midland Red (West) Limited from Sunday 6th September 1981.
