What is the story behind this Redditch picture?

Why is this Optare Versa bus facing the wrong way in the entrance to Redditch bus station this morning Monday 17 December 2018? I don't know the answer, so your ideas are sought.

It's a Diamond Bus. Nothing surprises me any more!

As I have "slightly" odd logic, - could it be that the driver was expecting to go back along the route, the same way as he / she arrived ??

Highly unlikely but do they park buses at the bus station overnight that could b the reason
Could ask diamond them selves why it was parked like this

It no doubt broke down on the hill and was rolled back to clear the hill for buses to enter and exit?

That seems a logical solution, it is a very narrow road on the hill at the best of times, impassable with a stationary bus blocking movements in and out. I wonder where the mechanics are and whether it was a simple fault such as running out of fuel or a more serious mechanical failure?

I drove past the bus station in Redditch around 22.10 recently and could not see any buses parked inside , but I would imagine vehicles could still be being serviced at that time and maybe moved to the bus station in the wee small hours . . . .
