Random Photograph of the Day!
A photograph picked at random from my personal collection.
Here we have Dennis Trident 33402 (VX54MTY) heading out-of-service to Blessed Edwards School, Worcester, to work a school S3 service. The date was 4th November 2008, the bus was on loan from Redditch depot, and my job that day was to do a risk assessment for the route. Clearly the low trees were a concern and the photograph was taken as part of my report.

The random photograph for today... A pile of bus stops!
Taken at Heron Lodge, the former Headquarters for Midland Red West (First Midland Red), at the end of May 2008 while the company was in the process of moving out when the 25-year lease expired.

Today's photograph shows a couple of coaches, 20514 (WV02EUP) and 20515 (WV02EUR), at Padmore Street depot nicely camouflaged in the snow.

I still can't remember why I went there once. I know I have been, but for what purpose I don't know. Maybe I went for a job and decided I didn't fancy it until the second time
Those coaches look much nice than the current ones.

Re: Random Photograph of the Day!
A few days ago I posted a photograph of Lance 247 outside Evesham depot in red and cream livery, well today's random photograph is the same vehicle, now renumbered to 67247, seen in Barbie2 livery at Baynhall terminus. The delightful white brick shelter can be seen in the background, this was demolished a few years ago.

Re: Random Photograph of the Day!
For today we have Mercedes-Benz Vario O.814 Plaxton Beaver II fleet number 52502. This had been new to Worcester depot as fleet number 502 in August 1998, but was allocated to Kidderminster depot when this photograph was taken ten years later in December 2008.
By this time all 64 examples of this type had been withdrawn from Worcester, but 52502 was there for maintenance work, and had been used as staff transport between the depot and the bus station. I seized my chance and used it to operate a late night Service 44 to Malvern... The last time a stepped-entrance minibus was used in service at Worcester depot!

Re: Random Photograph of the Day!
Haven't done a random photo for a few days, so time to put that right.
Here we have BMMO S12 fleet number 3750 (NHA750) making a bid for freedom from its home in First's Worcester Padmore Street depot. The date was 25th January 2013, and it was collected by a low-loader the following morning and taken to Reliance Bus Works for a professional refurbishment.
I've not heard any news about the progress for a while... anyone?

This photograph was taken by myself today while operating the afternoon Service 420 from Bromyard to Worcester. The question is, where was it taken?
