The 303 service between Kidderminster and Worcester operated all day by a pair of 19 year old Volvo B7RLE buses, both photographed passing along Grange Avenue Worcester;
30001, Reg. No WX07 UOB with Plaxton Centro B45F bodywork new 06/2007 to Flights Hallmark.
30409, Reg. No. YJ07 OZV with Wright Eclipse Urban DP44F bodywork new 04/2007 to Lancashire United as their 1817.
I wonder how long these buses have until withdrawal? They seem pretty fit as I note them on various other days on Bus Times website working most routes out of Kidderminster depot

I travelled on 30001 on the 303 yesterday and also 30951 on the 52 as part of a little bus tour.
To be fair. despite their age, these and their Volvo sisters are far preferably to the more numerous Streetlites at Kidderminster garage. Generally the seats are in good condition internally and their performance on long fast stretches of "A" roads and up inclines makes them perfect for the interurban runs. It will be a sad day when these go.

I visited "trentbarton" land a number of times last year a found similar Volvo/Wright buses working numerous long distance routes and I too found them still adequate for this type of work. Also , if Bustimes is correct , Three 58 plates of this type are working the X38 service between Derby and Burton today.
