Arrived today are 2 more E200s, this time from Somerset. They replace the vehicle damaged beyond economic repair in a crash on Tolladine Road a few weeks ago, and another one which has returned to South Wales.
Pic not mine, but pinched from Facebook.

Re: Replacement E200s
Worcester's rag -tag and Multi-Coloured Swap Shop Bus Service, alias the Padmore Street dumping ground! Still only four buses repainted in the lack-lustre new First Bus corporate ultraviolet livery since January of this year - reflects badly on the Wales and West division doesn't it, especially when other depots are getting Euro 6 exhaust emission buses and / or new Chinese battery electrics!

Re: Replacement E200s
I was told by a driver yesterday that it costs around £8,000 to repaint and retrim each bus. However, they don't do anything with the electrics and mechanical faults which blight just about every one of them. One driver said that he had a fault with the ECU, and he couldn't move or even open the doors! He was told by the engineers to open a panel and disconnect the offending electrical components. I am sure that VOSA would be interested to hear of incidents like this!!!!!!!
