Imberbus 2024

I can't see any Midland Red connection with this post, but it may still be of interest to some.

Last week was Imberbus 2024 and my employer, Stagecoach West, had an involvement for the first time. The event has traditionally been run with Routemasters, but modern buses are also on site to provide DDA compliant options.

Stagecoach West sent Scania N230UD fleet number 15976, which is based at Swindon depot and is often used on Service 49 running to Trowbridge, a few miles to the north. This is also Stagecoach West's Pride livery bus.

I went along with Chris Hanson (Stagecoach West MD) to get some photographs of our bus at the event, but access to good photograph locations was slightly restricted due to unexploded bombs. How rude! However, I did get some shots of the bus between trips at Warminster and Imber, plus a few of some of the other buses being used, which included some from other Stagecoach companies.
