Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions
I got a chance to go on one of the older citaros on Monday (I didn’t look at the number as I was tired and it was dark) but I did notice that the drivers seat is so low down, and I was stood there for like a couple of minute in confusion

There was very nearly a "Nimrod" liveried bus on the 11.15 Catshill today, I tried to swap it with my green Volvo on the 10.45 but to no avail, it was then spotted on the Catshill and swapped for a Trident before departure. I am dying to try one of the Citaros out on the open road, looks like I will have to wait until next week.

Very good point. They are fine for City work but only on a route like the 144 can you experience the full potential of a Citaro ! I am coming for a ride on the Worcester Network this Saturday, if anyone has the power to put one on a non-City Route then please dobmmoboy wrote: ↑21:00 Wednesday 16th January 2019There was very nearly a "Nimrod" liveried bus on the 11.15 Catshill today, I tried to swap it with my green Volvo on the 10.45 but to no avail, it was then spotted on the Catshill and swapped for a Trident before departure. As long as they come out fairly decent, I will share some photos on here

One of them was driving through the bus station this afternoon with "Bus Reversing" scrolling across the rear route number aperture -- -- I bet that will cause some anxiety among motorists who get close behind, and then notice it !
(I think it was 64042 -?)

Yes, I saw 64043 heading through Powick towards Malvern. Not seen one on a 35 yet!

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions
Is there the potential for a driver taking one of the older ones onto the 35 by mistake, and leaving one of the newer ones for the wrong services ?
EG:- OIGs 6942,43,44,45 instead of 64042,43,44,45 ??
They've been giving me a bit of "numerical dyslexia" -- -- I had to do a double-take today when OIG6944 went past me on the 44 -- white on the front; yellow on the back.
-- Luckily I don't think it was one of those with a big rear-window advert for a £45 fares deal !
