Today, Saturday 22 February 2025, saw the UK Railtours 'Shakespeare Sonnet' charter from Paddington to Stratford-upon-Avon via Oxford and Long Marston call at Worcester Shrub Hill with 20205 and 20007 leading plus 20142 bringing up the rear in 'top and tail' mode. It will return via Leamington, Kineton and Oxford.
Earlier this morning 66651 was hauling a 2,500 ton loaded steel train from Margam to Round Oak and stopped for a few minutes at Shrub Hill waiting for a path to Droitwich.
Then a little later 800017 is seen in platform 2 about to work the 11-15 service from Great Malvern to Paddington and across the track in platform 1, 166203 is about to work the
11-16 service from Bristol Temple Meads to Worcester Foregate Street.
