32066/7

Post by bmmoboy » 11:43 Saturday 28th August 2021

32066/7 have gone to Stoke for further use, after Worcester depot did a fair bit of work on them, with 67 being MoT'd. The replacements are 2 12 plate B9 deckers from Sheffield, which are due to arrive Today (Saturday).

That's great news, thanks !
- it implies that First haven't given-up completely on Worcester, --

- maybe First will replace the three scruffy B7TLs ( ex- Leicester ) in a similar fashion ?

I'm grateful that you gave us the full picture bmmoboy, - otherwise I could have mistakenly
thought that First were restoring the number of DDs here --
( but I haven't forgotten that the pandemic has reduced ridership numbers ).

I believe Stoke are to get around 12 new Euro6 DDs when a package of road alterations is completed ( - Gov / Council supported ).

I went to check out the depot today to see if they had arrived and both of them are out in the yard!

Just had a nasty thought !! - - Does WR garage now have the correct fuel filler nozzles etc ??
-- Last time we had one of these B9TLs on loan we didn't !!

Off topic I know, but seeing the line of citaro's there has reminded me... I'm surprised WR hasn't re-painted any of the citaro's during the summer holidays (would have been the prime time to get them sorted whilst there is a lower PVR!)

I also wonder, will they ever get re-painted! And will we ever see the long proposed Malvern's re-brand for the 44? :?

As reported on another site. The "new" buses are 36241 and 36242. Not sure what the "rules" are on the transfer of vehicles between depot's but I did hear that you" keep the best and move the rest ". . . . . . . :x

Hopefully Andrew, - as they are an internal transfer within First's Midland and South Yorkshire division, the MD will have made sure they have a good reliability record !! (?)
