Re: Santa Bus
One has just been done for South Yorkshire & is out in service. Apparently one (or more) is undergoing treatment for Worcester/Midlands (Probably one of our StreetLite Max's)

Re: Santa Bus
Once again I travelled by bus into the City Centre this morning to pick up a prescription. The weather was mild for the time of year, but the low winter sun, long dark shadows and contrasting bright buildings play havoc with my camera - that is my excuse for these less than perfect shots. On the plus side, I was lucky to see newly re-decorated 63360 with Santa Claus himself driving;
At risk of repetition I took a few more shots whilst the weather remains dry.
32066 Soldiering on as it works the 45 to Sixth Form College. 53062 in 'Riversider' livery arrives into the City on a 417 from Ledbury, but will sister Solo 53061 eventually receive 'Riversider' livery? 64043 a 'Nimrod' liveried bus goes to Sir Edward Elgar's beloved Malvern Hills; 64033 works the 38 Hospital service, but when will 64038 lose it's blue front? 35158 Vinyls and route actually match, but 'Malverns' branded 35159 is seen working to Dines Green; 69449 arrives in from Birmingham on a 144 with a destination message which is a sign of our Covid social distancing times, meanwhile another 'Salt Road' Volvo, 69451, is giving Warndon a sample of a clean green Euro 6 exhaust! Finally Aston's Streetlite WX15 AFU is seen arriving on a 296 from Bewdley.

Re: Santa Bus
Was the 296 service previously worked by Coniston?

Re: Santa Bus
Yes, Astons took over all the stage carriage services operated by Coniston Coaches in the Kidderminster area including the 296. Subsequently the owners of Coniston Coaches lost their operator's licences for five years following lack of regular servicing and discrepancies in maintenance records, as reported elsewhere on this forum.
