All Services: Timetable Changes

Redditch “ReddiLink†Network Launched
On Saturday 19th April 1986, Midland Red (West) Limited replaced all local Redditch Town services (using “Râ€-prefix route numbers) with a new Redditch “ReddiLink†network of services operated with high-frequency Mercedes-Benz L608D minibuses.
- “Midland Express†Service X5 journeys from Birmingham to Redditch New Town are renumbered to new Service X7. Journeys towards Birmingham continue to operate as Service X5.
- Local Redditch Service R1 and Service R2 are withdrawn and replaced by new “ReddiLink†Service 51 and Service 52.
- Local Redditch Service R3, Service R4, Service R5 and Service R6 (Redditch and Crabbs Cross circular group) are withdrawn and replaced by new “ReddiLink†Service 53, Service 54, Service 55 and Service 56. Minor changes to the route in the Walkwood and Crabbs Cross area.
- Local Redditch Service R7 and Service R8 (Redditch and Matchborough circular) are renumbered to new Service 57 and Service 58. Times and route remain unchanged, and these services continue to be operated with full size single-deck buses.
- Local Redditch Service R11 and Service R12 (Redditch and Matchborough East) are withdrawn and replaced by new “ReddiLink†Service 61 and Service 62.
- Local Redditch Service R15 and Service R16 (Redditch and Lodge Park circular) are withdrawn and replaced by new “ReddiLink†Service 65 and Service 66.
- Local Redditch Service R18 is withdrawn and replaced by new “ReddiLink†Service 67 and Service 68, with changes to running times and the route in Webheath.
- Local Redditch Service R23 (Redditch and Abbeydale) is renumbered to new Service 63. Times and route remain unchanged.
- Service X28 (Stratford-Upon-Avon and Redditch) journey departing Redditch at 14:15 now departs are 14:00 and runs 15-minutes earlier throughout.
- Redditch Shopper Service R40 is renumbered to new Service X40.
- Minor timetable changes to Service 147 and Service 148 (Birmingham, Redditch and Astwood Bank/Studley).
- Service 248 (Birmingham and Wythall) journey departing Birmingham at 15:37 is extended to Redditch Bus Station.
