Service 345: Service History

Service 345 (1937–1940)

Operated by Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited

Between c. 1937[Exact Date Needed] and early 1940[Exact Date Needed] Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) operated Service 345 as an extended variation to their Service 315, that ran between Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.

While Service 315 and Service 316 continued to operate between Worcester, Kidderminster, and Stourbridge, most journeys were extended at the Stourbridge end of the route to start and finish in Dudley, as new Service 345 and Service 346. This extension was short-lived, and by June 1940 the section of the route between Stourbridge and Dudley had been withdrawn and all journeys were once again operated as Service 316.
