New Service X51 was introduced by Midland Red Omnibus Company Limited (MROC) in October 1979. The service ran on Wednesdays only, with one return journey form Redditch to Worcester, to act as a Shopper Service on the Redditch half-day closing day. Local passengers between Redditch and Littlewood Green were not carried, and the service was Limited Stop throughout the whole route.
By April 1980, this service had been renumbered to Service 350, running over the same route but at slightly different times. While this was still a Limited Stop service, the rules were relaxed and the new service called at all stops on request between Worcester and Littlewood Green.
