From Saturday 16th May 1925 until Saturday 11th February 1928, route number 525 was used by Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) for their Leicester to Nuneaton route. This route had previously been numbered Service 68 and later became Service 725.
