Service W39: Service History

Service W39 (1967–1976)

New Service W39 was introduced by Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) on Saturday 1st July 1967, running between Worcester City Centre (Trinity), Warndon Estate, Bilford Road, City Centre, and Batch Road. This replaced Service W10 between Worcester City Centre and Bath Road.

Service=W39 was withdrawn as part of a wider network change which saw the introduction of Leyland National single-deck buses on local routes in Worcester. The service last ran on Friday 13th February 1976.
