I had a message from Carl Wigmore yesterday to say that he has now sold ex-MRW Lance 237 (later First 67237) and yesterday it was removed from his storage by the new owner.
The bus has been unused for several years and the chassis was so badly corroded that it was beyond economical repair. However, it did start and was able to drive under it's own power out of the storage yard to a suspended-tow truck for the onward journey to it's new home. Sadly it is not to be restored, but will be stripped of useful parts and the remains scrapped.
