Worcester could possibly get the "batch" of these E300's from 'Wales' . :)

I took a short ride on 67438 this morning. The bus appeared to be in decent condition - and still has the illuminated screen inside welcoming passengers boarding the Traws Cymru T1 service. :?

That means I’ll have to go route learning on my return!

Bus times has 44604 as in Olympia livery , I would have liked it to have been 44606 which is in 'Western Welsh' livery . 8-)

I've heard on the grapevine, that as well as some E300s, and a couple more E200s, Worcester are to replace ALL their StreetDecks with E400s - that is a complete change of direction with the fleet. They will most probably be older that the vehicles that they are replacing, but of far greater quality. That should speed up my recovery from illness, I can't wait to get back!

I've just driven past the "patch" and noticed the rear of one of the E300 (Mkll)s, and thought how suitable it looks for just "slapping on" a DIAMOND sticker !

I've wanted WR to have E400s ever since First started buying them in 2005, but I will miss seeing the StreetDecks.
From what I've read elsewhere, the most likely ones will be the '12 reg ones from Wells and Bath in BLUE Mendip Explorer livery (looks a bit shabby in some of the photos I've seen).

I SUSPECT that StreetDecks are not reliable enough for WR, but will 12 year old E400s be any better ?

With the new financial year starting soon, I hope that repaints into a nice new livery will start, -- but NOT BLUE !! :D

ALSO, - I believe there is an age limit for D'Deckers used on the Hay on Wye Festival services, -- so is THIS the year we hand over the work to Stagecoach ??
