How many of the mercs are now in service I know 1broke down to day
Here is another, 64013, which I nearly missed this morning working the 0930 37 from Green Lane to Crowngate bus station. Very low light levels, so some pixellation evident, but a record nonetheless.

As mentioned before, the main problem with them is electrical faults. This is mostly due to knackered batteries having being stood unused for almost a year. Just before I left I was told First have now ordered enough brand new batteries to replace all of the Citaros. I was told the cost too... It wasn't cheap! Anyway, once they arrive I would imagine the whole lot should be able to go into service.

I managed to see all of them yesterday , three in service , one "spare bus" on a staff shuttle and the rest were dotted about the depot and patch.

Saw 64014 on a 144A last Friday. It was dark and I was coming through Catshill and at first thought it was a Volvo because of the destination display it was only when I was up close I realized it was a Citaro :o I say 144A I didn't read the display when I was close but did pass a green Volvo on a 144 a few minutes later so presume it was a 144A.
