ADL 21102, MK10 YOC ON 303

Post by TimBrown » 07:40 Saturday 8th August 2026

Yesterday, Friday 7 August 2026, ADL Enviro 200 Fleet No. 21102, Reg. No. MK10 YOC, worked the 303 between Kidderminster and Worcester for most of the day; it is seen in Grange Avenue, Worcester heading for Kidderminster on the 15-30 service from Crowngate. Not sure if it has ever been on the 303 before, but it was new to Jim Stones, Leigh in 05/2010 with B29 F bodywork and given cherished registration BUS 1S. It was acquired by Hansons in 05/2027 by which time it was re-registered MK10 YOC and soon moved to Diamond at Kidderminster in 08/2017.

21102 reappeared today, Monday 10 August 2026, working one round trip on the 303, the 10-30 from Kidderminster to Worcester and the return 11-30 journey from Crowngate to Kidderminster. Not sure why, but it replaced the booked bus 30410 Volvo B7RLE Reg. No. YJ07 OZW, with Wright Eclipse Urban bodywork, which duly returned on the next service it was scheduled to operate.

Yesterday, Thursday 13 August 2026, ADL E20D Reg. No. YY16 YLK, Fleet No. 31419, new to Johnsons, Henley-in-Arden 06/2016 with B39F bodywork and acquired by Diamond in 05/2022, is seen in Grange Avenue operating the 14-30 303 service from Crowngate to Kidderminster. It worked one round trip from Kidderminster to Worcester and back in place of 30880, Volvo B7RLE Reg. No. BK10 MFX,with Plaxton Centro bodywork, which had been running approximately half an hour late on the earlier part of this turn. 30880 subsequently worked the remaining journeys without incident, which is commendable in the 36 degrees centigrade (96.8 degrees Fahrenheit) showing on my thermometer mid-afternoon in the shade!
