67437 not run since 24/7/25

Can anyone advise what is wrong with, or what has happened to 'Clipper' ADL E300, fleet number 67437? Bustimes website shows it as not in service for almost three months since Thursday 24 July 2025 when it worked the 11-40 35 from Crowngate bus station to Warndon.

Must be something major wrong with this bus, unless this batch of buses is due for early withdrawal? However, looking at Bus Lists on the web 67437 reg. no. SL63 GBZ was new to First Cymru 12/2013 so not even 12 years old for a couple of months; I guess the answer will be provided in the fullness of time!

It remains parked at the back of "the patch" alongside another blue single-decker from the Bristol area (damaged).

The repainting programme seems to have stalled with only four single-deck E200s done
this year. I wonder if the 2025/2026 financial year budget has run out? That used to happen in the days of Mercedes Vario mini/midi buses when many needed jump starting from January onwards as insufficient funds to source new batteries - so we were told! Then we were got at by a certain inspector for leaving the buses running in Crowngate bus station to which the answer was "Well if I turn it off you'll need to get a mechanic in to jump start it and probably lose the next service". Golden days!

My grapevine may not be as fast as it once was, but I'm told this bus has engine problems.

When MOT'd in 2024 , mileage given was 374,611. When MOT'd in 2021 , mileage given was 541,610. I assume the latter should be kilometers.

Just noticed that Bustimes have 67437 back in service now. Friday 12th December given as first day back.
