This photograph shown here by kind permission Bob Hemming was taken at Shrub Hill on Thursday 24 July 2025 and depicts YT09 YHO a Scania N27 OUD Omnidekka with East Lancs H51/35F bodywork new to Nottingham City Transport in 05/2009 as their 968.
According to various websites it was acquired by Ridleys Coaches of Warwick in 01/2020 and then to Royal Motorways of Redditch 06/2025.
A double-decker on rail replacement work needs a driver with extensive knowledge of all the low bridges East of Shrub Hill and other danger spots over a wide area of West Midlands, Hereford and Worcester!

YT09YHO is Royals fourth d/d. Busview says the vehicle spent a short time with First Bus at Bristol in 2019.

They were certainly different with rubber mounted large picture windows radiused in the corners when most manufacturers were using bonded rectangular glass with sharp 90 degree corners where attached to pillars, giving a somewhat utilitarian appearance. Sadly the company went out of business in 2012 as per attached link to Wikipedia write up;
