101 HHA101L
101 HHA101L
Hopefully this is the right section to post this in,
I believe the 'Passed to Unknown Owner (14/5/16) for preservation.' on the 101, HHA101L information, should be 'The GreenBus, Hockley' this has been on site for a long time now and the intention is to return it to preserved status, for use on hires etc
Please feel free to use the photo on the site

Re: 101 HHA101L
I had wondered on what they were doing with her since taking ownership years ago. Last ride for me was at Wythall.
hopefully see her round again soon then, as it was thought that may not have any care taken since.
Did make a comment and a new post yesterdya(18th) of the mid red facebook group but seems any mentions of 101 get deleted. dont know why.

101 as seen at The Green Bus Depot at Miller St Birmingham albeit looks untidy and in desperate need of TLC
Re: 101 HHA101L
Wondering what will happen to her now it seems Green Bus is in trouble and closed their services.
Re: 101 HHA101L
This came as a shock....they were in the process of refreshing their fleet only a few weeks ago!!

However their "Birmingham Busworks" business is said to be doing well so sure things will be ok in the long term!

There's a video on YouTube posted a couple of days ago of it out on the road.It was on trade plates and said to be returning from a brake test.Although posted a couple of days ago it could've been filmed anytime
there is somebody walking down the road in short sleeves and the few trees on view aren't showing any autumnal colours

Sadly that video was made years ago, when I still worked at The Green Bus, video being taken on Park Road, Hockley. Im not entirely sure what has happened to 101, as I left the business in 2021.

Thanks for the info shadow.I was a bit skeptical about it being recent hence the forensic examination of the video.Hopefully it'll be fully restored and back on the road one day.
