"At the garage today .... "
At the Worcester, Padmore Street depot of First Midland Red, today, are 3 StreetDecks from Leicester.
35176 and 77 are parked on the patch by the bus wash, and 35153 ( in "frequent fourteens" livery ) is over the pits inside.
I don't know if any of these are permanent transfers, but from what bmmoboy told us, it stands a good chance.
( One of the many reasons in the past for visiting vehicles has included "big" union meetings, I believe - ? )
This feels wonderfully nostalgic / reminiscent etc, to me, as there is a very long tradition that helped create MIDLAND RED enthusiasts --
whereby familiar types of buses ( and batch numbers) are transferred here (WR) from all over the midlands, including Leicester ( whilst acknowledging that the Leicester depots of Midland Red went to a different big group, not to First ).
Also, when I was extremely young, I used to see transfers of two or three buses at a time, rather than than just one, and sometimes exchanges, -- mainly at Newport Street bus station.
Today's quick visit to Padmore Street might be the very last time I see this ( although First Leicester could still have some single-deckers to get rid of, following electrification ).

Re: "At the garage today .... "
I've just read a post on facebook by a knowledgable guy, that some of Leicester's StreetDecks are for Worcester and some for Bristol, and that they are being picked-up by Worcester drivers, and / or picked-up from Worcester .....
Re: "At the garage today .... "
I'll try and find out more details tomorrow
Re: "At the garage today .... "
According to the below 35153 is staying at Worcester, whilst the other two 31576/7 are passing through:

I assume 35151/52/54 & 55 could also potentially join Worcester (i.e. all 5 x 65 plates at Leicester) to make the full batch 35151-9.

Re: "At the garage today .... "
Looks as though 35153 is currently out on the 144 to Catshill.
Re: "At the garage today .... "
Had a short trip on 35155 earlier, vehicle looked very smart on the outside , the inside was also tidy , it sounded good too although drivers might form another opinion.
Re: "At the garage today .... "
I’ve only driven 35153, to Evesham, and it didn’t rattle as much as 35156 - 59. It did however vibrate severely at around 25 mph.
Re: "At the garage today .... "
Today , vehicles on the patch included 35152 and 35170.
