Re: e400
Thanks Charliedaffin:-
I have hoped, for several months, that FMR / WR would get some of these, -- in fact I've fancied us having E400s since around 2006 !!
First started buying them at around that time, and I had a fab ride on one from Exeter southwards on the A30 (it featured e-leather seating in a sophisticated, mellow blue which was a perfect match for the interior and the "Barbie" livery, and it also reminded me of the interiors of the BMMO S21s, which looked great when new ).
33826 - 30 (of 2013) have been out of service since April / May , and last saw service at Weston-Super-Mare, but have been idle at Olive Grove, Sheffield since then, and were reportedly intended for the Potteries.
Unfortunately, I have read some adverse comments about them, from drivers on Facebook, so IF WR gets some, I hope they will be reliable !!
IF we get three, they would almost certainly replace the grubby looking 32644,45,46.
( First seem to be doing a lot of cascades, and purchasing new and second-hand DDs, currently ).
I have been "partial" to Alexander bodied / made buses since 1967, and I prefer the styling of these original e400s to that of the current e400MMC version.

Re: e400
Shame to lose 32644-6, especially 32645, as this vehicle goes well, and has a very smooth gearbox. It also has almost no rattles. I had this recently on two Eveshams, followed by a single X50. The Streetlite rattled more between Crowngate and the Cathedral that the Volvo did throughout two runs to Evesham! However, all three are getting a bit carework paintwise so the new liveried vehicles would be nice.

The E400s at The Potteries have started to enter service with 2 in use today
