Just seen a few butchered blind segments on ebay and several have surprised me. I didn't know that the "Red" ran so far up.

Were these regular services or specials?
Thanks,

Re: Mansfield and Alfreton
Possibly Trent blinds, I asked the question on line "Did Trent Motor services work in the Alfreton area in 1970s?" and the following timetables came up for sale as per link below;

Then asked the question "Which bus company ran buses in Mansfield in 1970s?" and the following information came up on Midland General / Mansfield District as per link below;

Hope that helps!

Trent had a garage in Alfreton, they also worked in Mansfield as well as East Midlands.

Re: Mansfield and Alfreton
I'm confident this was part of a Trent blind. The font was that used by Trent in the 1980s.
Derby (X12 and 625) and Nottingham (X99) were the furthest places that Midland Red buses reached in the north east direction.

Re: Mansfield and Alfreton
If they were Midland Red blinds, they would have the depot code on the left hand side of the blind. They are Trent blinds
Re: Mansfield and Alfreton
Many thanks for all your replies. I didn't think that they were "Red" ones.
It just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet.
Merry Christmas to all,

They've been on e-bay for several months, I must contact the seller to get him to update the listings.
