Commandery Coaches have been going work for first as wellAdamH wrote: ↑18:00 Friday 4th December 2020Bit of an update... First have not won anything new from the close of Dudleys, however the contracts that First already had required duplication buses due to social distancing, and these have until now been sub-contracted out to Dudleys by First. It looks like First will now be doing the duplication vehicles in-house.

A nice article about the history of Dudleys Coaches in the latest edition of Bus and Coach Buyer.

Travesty.
Things like this will be remembered at the ballot box.
I hope all the staff have found other employment, although the article at least sounds positive on that front.

NUI6121 appears to still be out and about locally , whilst PR06BET is reported as working for N.N Cresswell.

Good spot !! The name Luke Smith rings a bell with me somewhere . . . . . . . . . Radford / Inkberrow is just a bit out of my range - cycling wise.

Had to book the car in for an MOT yesterday and whilst looking on the Facebook page of where I take it I noticed they had a link to a new coach company on there.

The name and the livery seems to ring a bell I'm sure there was a coach company of that name before or as some sort of subsidiary of Dudleys

Dudley's had one coach in a white, blue and red livery with that branding, I always assumed it was a company they had taken over or an old name from the local area.
