TRACKING !
TRACKING !
https://bustimes.org/regions/WM
For some time now, I believe that one or two forum members have been able to view on their home computers and smart-phones, the LIVE position of local buses -- --
I've not been able to do this until now, but thanks to someone on the railforums website, I now can ( - also, I recently started to use the CHROME browser).
Click on the individual routes listed ( - may need to zoom in a bit), and click on an animated bus to see what fleet number it is !
The system is reportedly a bit "hit + miss" at the moment, and when I checked the 32 just now, it only showed one vehicle ( - perhaps it does not work if the bus engine is turned-off at a terminus ?)
Any additional info about getting the best from the system will be welcome !
-- I'm going to get a lot of fun out of this ! -- if (or when) it is reliable enough, we will be able to construct our own, up-to-date bus graphs !

Also, "even better", I just scrolled-down from the list of services to a section "For Anoraks" (!) to find this additional info -- --

Re: TRACKING !
I’ve been watching this site grow for many months now, back in early November I noticed a few bus types were added to some Midland Classic vehicles. Ever since I have watched it grow and have been waiting for First Worcestershire, and hopefully the rest of NXWM to be added soon, so pretty much know all the tips and tricks I was going to tell all of you on here but thought I wouldn’t ruin the surprise, especially for DD12 to track double deckers If you look on https://bustimes.org/vehicles you can see everything tracking in the country, look at the scale of the number of buses on there and it is mind blowing! With it being a new system, sometimes buses won’t show on a route as you have clocked onto with the 32 above - zoom into Worcester and just scan about where buses are, you should be able to work any others out, they may be tracking, but not ‘logged onto a route’. Some of these will be the ones shown on the First Worcester ‘fleet list’ you have linked - note the ones with a time, but no route, that’s why I refer to above. You can also look on the map, and click onto route numbers to show data of which buses have operated which journeys.
And! , you can look at history of where a bus has worked - click on fleetnumber from the List you linked, and use the drop down date tab, to see what has it done on the last few days.
As I am writing this, 32066 is working a 144 to BIRMINGHAM! Is this allowed with it being a Euro 2/3?

Re: TRACKING !
Great stuff Birmingham_Bus thank you !
Re: TRACKING !
I believe "anything" can be used until 1st January 2020, but First should want to use only euro 6 buses as they have had, or are receiving a share of £ for converting the 12 green Volvos to euro 6 for the 144.Birmingham_Bus wrote: ↑17:44 Monday 11th February 2019

Another problem with 32066 (and 67) is that the front destination screen needs new light bulbs or tubes -- -- a few times this winter (and last winter), I have not been sure there is a DD approaching until the last moment (dim upper deck lighting and dirty front windows compound this effect). -- -- This is the opposite of the "Salt Road" marketing image !
If someone at a bus stop doesn't see that it's their bus approaching, they might not stick their hand out in time, and the driver might sail past them !!
Re: TRACKING !
Looking at today's history for 32066 (which is a VERY messy and muddled "account") I would guess that it did the 17.30 short 144 from Worcester to Droitwich only.
Re: TRACKING !
Right at this moment, a very interesting deployment is 35159 on the X50 ! (apparently).
I don't think I've ever seen a StreetDeck on the X50, - only the older DDs.

Re: TRACKING !
There appear to be two Tridents on 44's at the moment, 33401 and 33403
Re: TRACKING !
The tracker system is showing 67652 is at Worcester and that it operated a service 33 at 9:25 this morning...
