Re: Withdrawn Coach 20201
I have been asked though to provide a list of parts required to put her back together, not going to be cheap
Re: Withdrawn Coach 20201
It was in September as I was on holiday in Scotland at the time and some silly bugger suggested I collect it and bring it back for parts then...
Like that was ever going to happen!
Meanwhile, this is what 20201 looks like with one of it's hind legs amputated... Link.
Re: Withdrawn Coach 20201
That's a pity, - and a bit odd - because in recent years First have been moving LOTS of vehicles all-around the country, behind towing waggons, and on low-loaders - even APPARENTLY vehicles that could have done the trip under their own steam !
- AND most of the buses withdrawn down-south get carted to scrapyards up-north (anyway), so looks like a lost opportunity
Re: Withdrawn Coach 20201
If you read 'Buses' Fleet News all bus scrapyards appear to be in the same town anyway!
Re: Withdrawn Coach 20201
Apparently there are 2 donor vehicles in Barnsley and we might be making a trip up there to cut some bits off one of them. The cost of the new parts have come in at over £5500....
