Thanks for that Mr. 943KHA !943KHA wrote: ↑19:22 Sunday 25th August 2019I hope that there is an error re the dates for a Midland Red event at Wythall! This year's October event is 50 years of WMPTE (and you could say that was partly responsible for the demise of Midland Red??) and next year is another celebration of Midland Red, for which we hope that 6015 will be one of the stars of the show, thanks to the untiring efforts of those at WR. I've certainly delivered enough spares there in recent weeks and I'm sure there will be more to come. The Alexander body style for the D11 - D13 types was one of the best for a bus in a box, dare I say even more attractive than the D10......

Hopefully the D10 will be ready by then, at the moment a large hole needs to be covered in the lower saloon floor (which was a little 'soft' anyway) where yours truly effected some overdue engine repairs without taking the engine / gearbox out. Then the retrimming can be completed. Still my all time epic bus having 'lived' with it since I was mere teenager. It has been photographed in 2004 at Aston Manor in the company of West Riding 995 when that particular Wulf was at Black Country Museum, and yes I had many a happy hour reviving that one. We could contrive to put together at Wythall the four 'blunderbuses', namely Daimler Roadliner NJW719E, Daimler Fleetline XDH56G, BMMO D10 943KHA and a Wulf...........

Does worcester have to keep the streetdecks due to funding from the council to have them as dds or are first still free to transfer them to other depots

Latest Update (given to me at lunchtime today by the staff manager)
The two 14 plate Optares are not now coming to Worcester as they have been purloined by another garage, so 53065 and one other will be repainted in the new Service 31 livery, when time permits as they are undergoing MoT prep.
The cascade of vehicles, Tridents to Essex and Geminis to Worcester etc., have been halted. Somewhere along the long line of transfers, a problem has arisen, so the movements will happen, just not as quickly as expected.
No mention was made about any other alterations to what was said last week.

I'm thinking maybe another Solo from Oldham... Maybe 53138 (EU54 BNK)
And with all 3 Dart's going to Wales another bus will be required for Village Links so maybe 53155 (CN06 BXH) could be used and fitted with Village Links stickers?
I say think this as the PVR for village links services is 3 (I think?) and a dart is usually one of the vehicles used along with 53802 & then a full-size bus - (meant to be 66694)!
As -12 buses (9 StreetLite's & 3 Dart's) and only +11 Citaro's then another reason to back the possibility of a 3rd solo! This would also allow for 53061/2 to be Withdrawn?
