Sorry, I got it wrong - it’s 32646

36245, the Leicester Corp. livery bus, was towed away today. It was photographed on the M1, on tow with a vehicle from PVS. It looks like it has made its final journey, and not as previously reported, for preservation. RIP

35155 was originally said to have a head gasket failure, but it was in fact a compressor problem.

35151/2 have appeared at Padmore Street, they are in normal (ie not orange promotional) livery, and only one arrived without any help, the other one needing a helping hand (tow truck) from Droitwich.

I’ve only driven 35153, to Evesham, and it didn’t rattle as much as 35156 - 59. It did however vibrate severely at around 25 mph.

37147 has a VOR notice in the windscreen and the ticket machine has been removed, so it can be assumed that this vehicle is withdrawn (replaced by one of the Leicester Streetdecks).

I don’t think that these changes will mean a large influx of vehicles, but a couple may be needed. However 32645 and 37147 will be withdrawn soon on expiry of their MoT’s, to be replaced by 2 Streetdecks from an unknown source.

Currently at Padmore Street is 37510 from Sheffield which is awaiting a new engine (it was going to be a rebuild job), and yesterday (Monday) a Saffron liveried Volvo arrived on tow from Leicester, which needs a new Camshaft. This should keep JC busy!
