Re: 66304 & other buses in Worcester.

It seems that Arriva are doing a lot of vehicle exchanges to get Euro-6 stock into Leicester. Yorkshire are sending about 30 vehicles to "Midland Fox" and "Maidstone & District" and are getting older vehicles in return. Presumably, this is because Leeds City Council has decid...

Re: 20611

Bramley is indeed in Leeds. I worked in the coaching unit there between 1989 and 1993,

It had been a Leeds City Transport depot and was consumed by the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (Metro) until that was privatised when it became Yorkshire Rider.

Re: Revised 37 route from 26 January 2020.

Your analysis makes grim reading Tim. I recall a senior minister reassuring us that all would be well as, with free trade deals around the world, we would be able to thrive by exporting things like we used to. Things like cars, lorries, trains, ships, aeroplanes, industrial machinery and other manuf...

Your help required please....

Hello All, Can anyone help me please? I am in need of a red plastic PLAXTON badge, as fitted to the front of Paramount Mk2 1006, B106JAB. If anyone has a good one that they are prepared to sell, please get in touch. Alternatively, I have found a company who can replicate them using a scanner and a 3...

Keep the pictures coming Tim.

Re: Yet More Buses for Catshill

Yes, "Smart Motorways" are anything but! Michael Green (aka Grant Shapps) gave us false hope that they were to be scrapped but then realised how much it would cost to upgrade the motorways properly and safely and did a hasty backtrack. If I had 10p for every vehicle I have seen driving ben...

Re: Devastated Services (Coronavirus)

Since I am Furloughed from Megabus and not allowed out to tend to my streak of Tigers, I am catching up on some jobs around the house. I bought some fluorescent light fittings for the cellar in 2006 and some shelf brackets from a shop in Droitwich in 1987 and finally got round to fitting them last w...
