I drove past the new estate at Bevere today for the first time for ages - has the 37 had much extra takeup? Surprisingly I’ve only operated two journeys on the 37 since it started. There simply aren’t any on our rota. I’m wondering if drivers are still regularly going the wrong way... Maybe Mr. Bro...

I did miss a photograph opportunity a few weeks ago to capture that in blue on the 303 stand with 67664 in red parked in the bay opposite, and a standard livery example squeezing through the gap. Alas I wasn’t quick enough out of my cab with my camera... delayed by one of those annoying passengers!

Just like to point out that my vote for the Volvo B7RLE is because of the superb Wright Eclipse body examples Worcester had a few years back. The current Plaxton Centro versions are OK but nowhere near as good.

Looking back at the archive I have found a poll I ran in 2006 to see which type of single-deck (full size) bus operated by Midland Red West / First Midland Red was your favourite. Back then the Leyland National was a clear winner. Let's see if opinions have changed in 10-years. Just one vote per mem...

I'm told Diamond have withdrawn ex-First Enviro300 67645 (Diamond fleet number 30934), and it is now being broken for spares.

Before you all tell me off, I know it's not part of the Midland Red (South) fleet but it's their sister company so I'll post here... Arrived today for engine work, First Potteries 32633 (KP54LAE).

There will be some minor tweaks to the City services in September, and a brand new timetable book is being prepared. I'll post further details in a week or two once they have been registered.

53049 was not at Worcester garage when I was there earlier, so it has probably gone for paint.
