Taking a look at the Bus Open Data held at https://data.bus-data.dft.gov.uk/timetable/dataset/2139/ and it still shows the 153 only runs on schooldays. The money from Central Government is very real, but will the Local Authorities engage with the bus operators to see where the money is most needed to make real improvements, or will they use it to buy votes with headline grabbing schemes that aren't needed?

That would have been 50453 and 50454, two of the ones that arrived from Scotland last week. The other was 50452 but that hasn’t been out in service yet, followed by another yesterday that stopped off in Birmingham on it’s was down to have the air conditioning fixed at a contractors.
