Re: Temporary allocations - when new

That's amazing, thanks Adam !
I didn't expect to get so much detailed info about such an ancient event !

Did you get this info from PSV Circle news sheets ? - IF yes, I might try and look at the ones for 1966/67 ! :geek:

Temporary allocations - when new

Tying-in with a current discussion about Evesham and Leyland National No. 658, I would like to add that it could have been 654 or 655 that spent their entire lives at EM -- instead, for them, it was weeks or days ! I saw these two, brand new at EM garage, and was shocked to discover they had been mo...

Re: Withdrawn Coach 20201

33039 and 33043 are both going to First Kernow at the end of the school year, and we were supposed to be keeping 33042. 33043 has had a lot work done on her by MechWR26 and is by far the best of the trio, but the decision has been made from above, so get a ride on it before it's too late. Thanks bm...

Re: Tridents Going to Kernow?

I have seen rumours on Facebook that two of the 330xx Tridents are soon heading to First Kernow but I am not able to confirm this, one way or another. 33042 decided to drop all of it's oil on the floor on Monday and had to be recovered by tow truck. Not sure of the cause yet, but I'm sure we will f...

Re: Withdrawn Coach 20201

I guess they are just using whatever full-size bus they can instead? I believe a reorganisation of some of the school services, particularly the contracted ones, from September will ease demand and take the use of just the one coach into account. Thanks for that info, Red Midland. I hope that will ...

April 2016 Service Changes

So far, I've got the impression that service reliability is better (??) I haven't been in Crowngate much, but I've not seen any adverse comments in the Worcester News (other than the complaints about the withdrawn city services, which, note, have NOT been replaced by WCC/small operators) (There have...

Re: FMR: Refurbs and Repaints

I dunno, but I saw a Gemini got rubbed-down in our bodyshop, and I wondered if that was repainted at Hereford (?)... That did not receive any bodywork attention while at Worcester, but I can see why you would think that as I made the same mistake when I first saw it. It was fitted with a full heigh...

Re: FMR: Refurbs and Repaints

Is it at Hereford Car and Commercial again mate? I'll keep an eye out for it as I usually go that way to work now. I dunno, but I saw a Gemini got rubbed-down in our bodyshop, and I wondered if that was repainted at Hereford (?) You might be interested to know Matt, that 66691 now has a full-size r...
