Yep, I've been told to pull the engine out of the DD and fit it into 66963.... the fact that it's not quite the same has been ignored.
Good Luck ! ..."Magicianwr26" !!

Re: Visiting Buses at Worcester

It would appear 32057 has been sent to Worcester to act as an engine donor to 66963. This is a decision clearly made by a manager and not an engineer as they don't have the same engine type...  .... or could it turn-out that there are some "valuable", re-useable parts within the older e...

Re: Visiting Buses at Worcester

Well, if it got here under it's own steam; that makes it better than 32067 !
I say let's keep it !
(I think the snag might be that it would have to be adapted to comply with DDA requirements).

32067

This beastie is back in service.

I hope that this bus ( - that also gave LOADS of trouble, when based at Leicester) -
will now be reliable !

- If not, please replace it Adam ! ;)

Re: Dirty buses

Is the washer at the depot broke? All the buses seem really dirty at the moment I travelled on the top deck of a StreetDeck yesterday, and the people at the front couldn't see how far they had got :D At this time of year, it might only take 8 hours for a single-decker to get that dirty (?) Re: Real Time Information

Thanks for your information about the 37 (but it's very depressing). I grew up in Whinfield Road, where I got my enthusiasm for buses (DD12s, every 15 minutes !) In modern times, (as you know) First ran the 32 cross-city, Ombersley Road - Crowngate - Bath Road (Where I live now). When they were, say...

Re: 144 Route.

Have you noticed, Mr Chason, the photo of OA4568, on the HomePage-
"Members Favourite Photos".
- The side route boards appear to say "Lickey Ends"

(Which I think is even worse than Lickey End) :D

Re: 144 Route.

I ran the 17:15 Service 144 tonight and I was amazed how quiet it was on the return journey... 1 passenger from Birmingham to Rubery, empty to Bromsgrove, then 1 from Bromsgrove to Fernhill Heath and 1 from Droitwich to Worcester. Where were they all hiding? I seriously hope that that was a VERY ra...

Re: D5B - 3795

Thanks Tim; - It's still far more complete than I had it in my memory.

Obviously if I won a very big amount on the lottery, I would support various bus projects, including this one.

(I think we should make Adam commit to stumping-up the money for the D5B if he wins £5 million or more !) :)
