According to posts on the internet they are only here because the space was needed at Weston for the new battery electrics that have displaced them, and that they will go for repaint, then Norwich and "Up North".

There's now 4 Badgerline StreetDecks on the patch ! -- I wouldn't have thought "we" had got that much spare space !

From April, it appears to me that the main frequency / interval (Mon-Fri) of the 44, X50, and 144 will all be approx every 30 mins. I've looked at arrival times (up until 14..20) at Crowngate and the intervals are similar. Will this make it easier for a controller at Crowngate to "launch" ...

Thanks Reddibus for putting this info on this forum -- it's very interesting to me, and because the county council fail to put important info on their website, the changes could have "passed me by", -- until I saw a DIAMOND on these services -- leaving me scratching my head !! :shock:

This afternoon is the first time I've seen as many as 18 out of the 19 E400s being used (according to bustimes).
Also, I've been wondering if they can get up Fromes Hill -- IF they are to be used on the HAY Festival services, this year ! (?)

I think the engines in the two Optare deckers is the same Mercedes / Daimler as is fitted in StreetDecks (???) and if so, it has done even less well in the Optares !!
