Re: Winter 37 photos.
..... " Your Mission Tim, - should you decide to accept it," - is to get a photo of 32646 in Leicester City livery , on the 37 along Grange Avenue !! ( - totally unthinkable in MRW days !!) Unfortunately, the current bus graph does not appear to have any regular usage of DDs on the 32S / 37, but may...

Re: 2021 Arrivals and Disposals
Some of the B7L's are returning to Leicester this week where they will be withdrawn. Drivers are going to collect some more Citaros from Slough to replace them. Thought the B7Ls would be here longer! Thanks bmmoboy :) Has 32646 arrived from Potteries yet? Yes, 32646 has arrived, (- it was on the pa...

Re: Pandemic -- DD usage
And there were DD's out on Sunday on the Malvern 44 and Dines Green 30 as well. Nice!! I've very much enjoyed seeing StreetDecks on the Sunday 44 at various times since the first lockdown, -- -- -- to me, it makes the Worcester operation look more like one of the many successful ones around the cou...

Re: Pandemic -- DD usage
According to the tracker, a DD has been used on the short X50 today, -- if true, it's the first time on a Sunday that I know of !
If I had looked at the tracker earlier, I would have changed my daily walking route to the London Road to check it !!

Re: Johnsons gains Worcester work
https://bustimes.org/operators/johnsons-excelbus/vehicles According to the tracker, Johnsons have been using a DD all this week, on the 150B/C (despite lockdown), and today have been using a brand new Optare Metrodecker YJ70EWC. This looks very smart in the photos on Flickr ( - click on the button i...

Re: Johnsons gains Worcester work
Thanks asb, and Tim for the info above. -- I might have been banging my head against the wall without it !! Ironically, having printed off the timetable from the Johnsons website, I had cause to look at the new traveline version, as it shows ALL stops ( - if you click on that button), - and it incor...

Johnsons gains Worcester work
I got a big shock this afternoon when driving along the City Walls Road c.16.00. A smart modern Johnsons DOUBLE DECKER was displaying 150C, and was heading towards the Kings School. The bustimes tracker confirms it, and Johnsons new timetable shows additional stops at Kings, and the Royal Grammar Sc...

Re: 2020 Arrivals and Disposals
Thanks for that photo willr7, - that looks like a "template" for a livery to suit Midland Red colours of red and maroon, and cream to suit Midland Red West
