Re: TRACKING !

Maybe not weird. Could be that Midland Classic’s machines have similar or consecutive serial numbers and just been misassigned/mistyped on bustimes. Pretty sure that First, and Midland Classic, will know exactly where all their buses are! (And doubt they refer to bustimes for that information!) Goo...

Re: TRACKING !

-- That has got to be one of the weirdest "bus things" I've ever seen !!

Re: TRACKING !

An interesting "phantom" on the main live map today was a "Midland Classic Test Bus No.4" which appeared to be parked at Padmore Street for about 5 minutes !! I decided to go and check, as there has been plenty of interest to see in recent times -- and of course when I got there, there was nothing l...

33403 - "Rough"

Yesterday and today I've seen this Trident smoking more than it should, and today it

Re: Bus construction - good and bad.

http://www.route-one.net/articles/compliance/ADL_moves_quickly_to_address_E200__E300_suspension_issues/c Good timing is this article in today's Route One !! My guess is that the problems of shock transmission, noise and rattles in low-floor buses, is due to the low-floors and the need for the suspen...

Re: Price of single fare tickets on First bus Worcester services

:!: Thanks bmmoboy ! I have taken another look at the First Worcestershire website, and my revised understanding (or not) is as follows:- (1) - click on TICKETS (2) - click on TICKET PRICES (3) - scroll-down to the selection of six ticket types ( - which include "Unlimited Direct Debit" tickets). (4...

Re: Replacement Coaches for Worcester

I suddenly realised recently (with a shock) that the Yellow BMC school buses are already old enough to be replaced, and I now wonder if the second coach will replace one of them ?
(maybe a 53 or 55 seater ?)

Also, is the dealer-stock coach only a loan until First Berkshire have finished with 20612 ?

Done!

Had a bit of trouble finding it at first... You need to visit https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ to donate to UK charities.
Excellent !! :)

You can now support the MUSEUM via Amazon !

If, like me, you do some shopping from Amazon, you can now enrol into smile.amazon.com and nominate Transport Museum Wythall, as your chosen charity.

It's only a tiny percentage they donate, but if the museum got £50 in a year that would still be good !

Re: Price of single fare tickets on First bus Worcester services

Thanks very much "exMRW" and Adam ! That will certainly REVERSE the situation IF drivers are going to be "re-trained" to issue a City Unlimited Day ticket instead. (I have made 2 journeys where I asked for a Day Return and was charged for a County Day Ticket). Three points about this occur to me :- ...
