Re: Brown and cream Gemini double-decker.
I have had a look on the net and believe that the above bus was with Lothian Buses of Edinburgh and that the brown/maroon and cream livery is representative of post-war Edinburgh livery. The registration is SN56 (not as above wrongly given as SO56). Link to picture of similar bus; https://commons.wi...

Brown and cream Gemini double-decker.
Whilst driving through Foregate Street this morning I was surprised to see a brown and cream (or off-white) liveried Wright Gemini bodied double-decker heading into the city with the legend 'We are recruiting' on the front blind. Only a quick glance at the number plate and the first part could have ...

Re: 69453
69453 has returned from the paint shop. Unfortunately, it is in new Worcester livery, not Salt Road which it should have been finished in. Not too sure what happens now, as all the other Volvos, 69454 - 60 are in new livery, so there are no vehicles that can be put into Salt Road, or all the rest w...

Don’t know if anyone has noticed but the Lettering relating to the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee has been removed. Thanks bmmoboy for the notification of removal of lettering relating to the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee, I was wondering why it was still on the bus when Her Majesty died - it was a ...

Re: Shrub Hill & Sherriff Street development
Like you Tim I am surprised that such a tall development has been allowed. I keep hearing about plans to demolish Elgar House to improve the view of the station from the front, but surely now there will be a tall modern building visible in the background instead! :o I am a railway enthusiast but wo...

Diamond Bus will not be participating in the DFT/Government £2 Fare Cap scheme from 1 January to 31 March 2023 as per the attached link to their website; https://www.diamondbuses.com/news/2-fare-cap-statement/ A shame as Diamond Bus no longer issue return fares or offer a City day ticket in Worceste...

With First Bus South Hants and Dorset closing the depot and pulling out of Southampton services completely on 19 February 2023 it looks as if there are six Streetdecks available for cascade elsewhere in the diminishing First Bus empire.
