Re: Crowngate this morning.

No sign of 47610 ? I'm sure you would have noticed it !! No, but a friend asked "what was the yellow bus doing going out of service along Tolladine Road" the other day (not sure which) and I see it was out on city service yesterday. Back to the future as Worcester's breakdown truck used t...

Streetlite 47611 is in Padmore Street garage. It's in the new YELLOW Bee Network livery of Greater Manchester !
47612 and a few others are now confirmed in Bristol having been displayed by brand new buses on the Bee Network, so I would assume the same holds true with 47611.

Re: Contract Win for First

I remember reading the WCC contract at work a few months ago but I honestly can't remember how long it was for, and even if I did there is always the possibility that First have negotiated different terms. The Herefordshire work should be around the September mark, but I believe that one has an &quo...

Contract Win for First

I see First Worcester have registered routes previously operated by Aston, so I assume that means they have been successful in winning part of the contract that was recently issued by WCC.

Good news for Worcester depot. :D

Re: BSIP+ money (Tewkesbury improvements)

Further improvements in Tewkesbury, albeit some time off at the moment, will be the introduction of electric buses on the 41, 71, and T routes, as announced by Gloucestershire County Council... https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/electricbuses/

Re: Vehicle Replacements 2024

So basically Worcester are getting buses that are at best 10 years old and do not meet the latest emissions standards.

Re: Vehicle Replacements 2024

Sorry Adam, I don't know. I won't be able to find out exactly what they are until I return to work, which will be in around 5 -6 weeks. 5-6 weeks... Lucky! I only asked because I've driven both types and while they are both nice to drive, the MMC version is a cut above the rest. Way better than a S...
