Re: Starburst (UK) take over Crowngate.
How would that even work with Angel Place and The Cross no longer available? The Co-op and Sansome Street would get very cosy!

Re: More B****y Streetlites
In the past I noted many drivers brought a towel to put on Vario seats, so it is a historical problem. I remember after passing my test, on my first day with my mentor he went through my bag and said "get a towel" for just that reason! It made sitting on damp seats tolerable, but vinyl se...

Re: London Comes to Wythall
I was also able to visit this event, my first time at the museum. I found the static displays excellent and very informative. I'm slightly annoyed with myself that I had one niggle, which is really incosequential, which was the bus I rode on in the morning was meant to go to Earlswood, which sounded...

Re: Bus service review in Worcestershire.
I travelled on the 423 a couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday at lunchtime (i.e. the same day of the week and about the same time the bonus trip ran when MRW had it) and there were only two passengers.

Nice photos as always Tim. I'd been busy traveling on all sorts of Nationals that weekend at the LN50 event in Whitehaven. Only one or two had the right sound and feel as far as I was concerned though!

Re: The End of Worcester to Birmingham 144 !!
Yes, on Sundays during the winter and evenings on Monday to Thursdays the 144 would be run with a minibus. I remember driving a Mercedes L608D and later the O.814 Vario into Birmingham and being totally ignored by people at bus stops as they had no idea! Not my best efforts with a camera as it was ...

Presumably the need for Euro VI buses on the route will cease? This will also aid the finances no doubt.
I second the Charford suggestion, it's always seemed a bit marginalised since the demise of the frequent 93.

The front and sides are seperate inputs at Head Office/Depot for the person creating the overall file. It is common to copy a destination forwards and amend it, as this can be quicker than creating new every time, but it does run the risk of forgetting to change the side!

Re: Johnsons gains Worcester work
Omnibus Society report a new 150B variant running from County Hall via London Road and Tallow Hill to Shrub Hill and vice versa. Is this the first time a bus has been scheduled up Tallow Hill? The old canal bridge wasn't bus friendly as I remember it, so maybe it is?

Re: New BUS STOP markings in Grange Avenue.
I would follow the markings as both a driver and passenger, but you can guarantee the second in line will ignore you and wait by the flag!
