Kineton Depot
Brookhampton Road, Kineton.
- Built by Stratford-upon-Avon Blue Motor Services Limited*
in 1954 to the style of BMMO garages of that time, replacing the
original Kineton garage. **
- One-man operation from c. September 1961.
- Full control of the depot passed to Birmingham and Midland
Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services)
on 1st January 1971, when the operations of Stratford
Blue Motor Services Limited are absorbed by BMMO. Allocation at this time was 12 vehicles.
- Company renamed to Midland Red Omnibus Company Limited
(MROC) on 29th March 1974, with a depot allocation of
12 vehicles and approximately 16 staff at this time.
- Closed on 31st May 1980, with the introduction
of the “Leamington and Warwick” MAP
scheme, and the subsequent reorganising of services.

was acquired as subsidiary by the Birmingham and Midland
Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services)
on 28th June 1935.
** The original Kineton garage was built by Kineton
Green Bus Services in 1934, and passed to Stratford-upon-Avon
Blue Motor Services Limited with the business of Kineton
Green Bus Services on 1th January 1937.
