The driver had black hair then - now it is white as snow! 255 was a quick bus by the standards of the day, it went well, had progressive brakes, smooth gearbox, good throttle response and didn't have overheating tantrums in the Rubery area. It ended up in Ayrshire Scotland with sister bus 256 not so very long after this picture was taken by the late Ian Thomas.
