Has this bus been scrapped since the picture was taken? There appears to be another British vehicle parked in front of the D7, it looks like a 1958 Standard Pennant (upmarket Standard 10). I wonder how that found its way to California; hardly a day-to-day sort of transport when most cars over in the US in the latter part of 20th Century were massive gas-guzzling V8s.
