Service X43: Timetable Changes

A number of changes to the “Severnlink†network were introduced from Wednesday 26th May 1976.
- Remaining “Motorway Express” Service X43 and Service X44 journeys are withdrawn and replaced additional Service M43 and Service M44 journeys. These run over the same routes between Birmingham and Worcester, then continue to The Malverns to replace Service 144 through journeys between Birmingham and The Malverns.

- New timetable for “Motorway Express†Service X41, Service X42, Service X43, and Service X44, with the Worcester, Great Malvern, and Malvern Wells section of the route withdrawn Monday to Saturday. Worcester to British Camp continue to be served by Service X43 and Service X44 on Sundays only.

- Midland Express Service X43 and Service X44 no longer pick up or set down passengers in Angel Place or The Cross in Worcester.

Worcester Citibus Network changesShow All
On Saturday 31st October 1987, Midland Red West Limited extend their Worcester Citibus network to include Droitwich Spa, and introduce service revisions on most existing Worcester Citibus routes and certain Country and “Midland Express†routes in Worcester, Droitwich Spa, and Malvern areas.
- “Motorway Express†Service X43 and Service X44 is withdrawn on Sundays during the Winter Season. Sunday operation resumes on Easter Sunday 1988 for the 1988 Summer Season.

On Sunday 15th October 2017, First Midland Red Buses Limited revise most of their services, with minor changes in the Worcester City Area and on Service 144 and Service 144A, and a new network of services for Pershore and Evesham areas, and for Malvern area.
- New Service X43 and Service X44 are introduced between Worcester and Great Malvern, runing via Bromwich Road and omitting Malvern Retail Park. Service X43 runs via Malvern Vale and Belmont every 30-minutes and replaces certain Service 44A journeys, while Service X44 runs via Pound Bank and Barnards Green at peak-times only as a direct alternative to Service 44.
