Service 72: Timetable Changes

Hereford Overground network launchedShow All
On Sunday 15th June 2003, First Midland Red Buses Limited launch a new network of services Hereford, as the Hereford “Overground†network. Existing local area services are withdrawn and replaced with a new network with route numbers in the range 71–76. Many of the new routes operate as cross-city services.
- Local Hereford Service 102, Service 108, Service 109 and Service 112 are withdrawn and replaced by new Hereford Overground “Green Line†Service 72 and Service 72A, running between Bobblestock, Hereford City Centre, Putson and Red Hill. Journey frequency is every 10-minutes, Monday to Saturday daytime.

From Monday 1st September 2003, First Midland Red Buses Limited revise their “Overground†network in Hereford.
- Hereford Overground “Green Line†Service 72 and Service 72A now return from Red Hill via Ross Road.
6th September 2015
Hereford depot closedShow All
At the end of operation on Saturday 5th September 2015, Hereford depot was closed with all services operated from that site being withdrawn. From the follow day, a number of services operated from Worcester depot were also changed.
- Service 72, Service 72A and Service 72B are withdrawn, and replaced by Yeomans running to the same timetable.
