On Saturday 16th May 1925, Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) renumbered their stage carriage services into groups depending on their geographical location, stating with Service 101 and no longer using suffix letters. Route numbers 1–100 were not used to avoid confusion with Birmingham Corporation routes.

Route numbers 1–99 were not used to avoid confusion with Birmingham Corporation routes.
On Saturday 5th November 1977, Midland Red Omnibus Company Limited (MROC) introduced the “Wendaway” Viable Network Project (VNP) scheme in Kidderminster and the surrounding area.
