Service 20: Timetable Changes

Worcester Citibus Network changesShow All
On Saturday 31st October 1987, Midland Red West Limited extend their Worcester Citibus network to include Droitwich Spa, and introduce service revisions on most existing Worcester Citibus routes and certain Country and “Midland Express†routes in Worcester, Droitwich Spa, and Malvern areas.
- New Citibus Service 20 is introduced, running as a Droitwich Spa Local service between and the Town Centre and Westlands every 10-minutes during the main part of the day.
- Most Service 153 and all Service 153 journeys, running between Worcester, Droitwich Spa, and Westlands are withdrawn and replaced by new Service 19 and Service 20.
- Most journeys of Droitwich Spa Local Service 155 are withdrawn and replaced by new Citibus Service 19 and Service 20.

- Minor changes to Droitwich Spa Local Service 20 timetable, with the 16:00 and 16:30 journeys running 5-minutes earlier.

Worcester City and Droitwich Spa Network ChangesShow All
From Sunday 3rd November 2002, First Midland Red Buses Limited make a number of changes to their bus services in the Worcester City and Droitwich Spa area.
- Droitwich Spa Local Service 20 (Westlands circular) is shortened and rerouted to run via Briar Hill, and service frequency is reduced from every 15-minutes to every 20-minutes. Service 20A now runs every hour (previously only three journeys a day were operated) to party replace the withdrawn section of the Service 20 route.

- Local Droitwich Spa Service 20 (Westlands circular) is withdrawn by First Midland Red Buses Limited. Worcestershire County Council issue a contract for replacement services which is won by MHS Travel.
