Introduction
Service J
Long Distance Service J was operated by Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) between Birmingham and London, via Stratford-upon-Avon, Banbury and Aylesbury.
In the post-war era, one return journeys was operated on seven days a week throughout the year, except on Christmas Day. Journey time was 5½-hours in each direction.
