Service 36: Service History

Service 36 (1914–1925)

Operated by Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited

From Wednesday 4th November 1914, the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company Limited (BMMO—Midland “Red” Motor Services) operated Service 36 as a short-working variation to Service 25, running between Worcester, Great Malvern and Malvern Wells.

As the service was expanded after the end of the First World War, the number of short-working journeys reduced and more full length journeys between Birmingham and Malvern Wells were added as Service 25.

On Saturday 16th May 1925, BMMO renumbered their entire network and both Service 25 and Service 36 became Service 125.
